Most of our artists have an affinity with Scotland. Currently living here, born here, worked here before moving to other areas of the world or quite simply love Scotland and its people. We believe that Hand Made Art offers a fresh, modern, lively and unique range of quality art always supplied ready to display and at prices usually around 40 – 50% cheaper than the gallery price for a similar item. How do we do it; quite simply the costs of running an on-line store are considerably less than High Street rents and other overheads so you pay for the painting not the cost of presenting it to you.

All our location paintings are clearly identified by the artist in pencil on the back of the canvas. All paintings are presented on quality wooden stretchers and supplied ready to hang in a quality wooden frame. Our frames are approximately 4 inch wide swept moulding appropriate to both modern and classic images and in a colour to complement the original artwork.

Our experienced framers have framed your painting to enhance the original art and frames are either, Gold, Blue, Off White, Black, Silver, Walnut or Antique Gold . You can see photographs of our frames here >>. Our 36” x 48” paintings are framed in very heavy classic swept frames. All paintings will be delivered to you by courier in secure packaging.

Where a number of artists have contributed to the creation of one of our superb art images these will be signed Denovan. Denovan is a Mark of Uniqueness and Quality. Some of our large paintings may be signed twice where two artists have been involved in its creation this is unique to Hand Made Art. Many famous artists today design and commission an artwork that is in fact produced and finished by others but only the famous artist receives recognition for this work. Unlike expensive numbered reprints Denovan Art is original and unique to you. A framed artist signed reprint is not ART if anything it is wall decoration.
